M Ajayakumar

        M Ajayakumar Is a cartoonist and a poet. He is also a drawing teacher of Vidhyaprakash public school.Inside and outside Kerala, his poems short stories and cartoons put out by many magazines both in English and Malayalam. He also won many prizes and honors

Art Exhibition

                   He conducted many cartoon, drawing and sculpture exhibition at Calicut,Vatakara,Mahe and Kannur. In 19.04.2002, he had  conducted an exhibition at the lalithakala academy art gallery hall Calicut, which mainly focused on, cartoon, drawing and sculpture display.

Awards and Recognition

             M Ajayakumar is the winner of many awards. In 1990’s he got the Kerala Cartoon Academy Award.Won merit certificate of Hindusthan times cartoon competition in 1995.In 1991,Won gold medal in Thalassery Sreenarayana literary competition.Cartoonist award of hasyavedi Calicut. Winner of painting and drawing competition in balajanasakhyam  Vatakara union kalotsav which was conducted in 1992.First prize winner of Malayalamanorama classifieds kalikudukka drawing competition.Winner of  satire story writing competition conducted by  Kottaram traders and malayalamanorama .Aksharakalari  kadalundi  nagaram gave him best cartoonist award in 2005,uthara Kerala sahithyavedi  award –best artist in 2008 and chilanka award for poems in 2010.

Meanwhile, Ajayakumar’s rashtriya cartoon samaharam “Hasya lokam”, poeatry  “kalalayathintey akamsha”,”Kurukan marum  realty showyum,” cartoon kathasamaharam “varayum kuriyum”,balasahithya krithi “Vikrithikuttan” cartoon 100% “chiriyum chinthayum” was also published.

              Mr.Ajayakumar, the publisher of Chakyar entertainment comic magazine,who is also the drawing teacher of Vatakara vidyaprakash Public school, is the only son of cooperative joint registrar, Mr. Late Sreedharan and Vasantha.His wife is sona and sreenidev is his son.
